Having visited all of the beautiful glaciers mentioned, I just wanted to add that you can actually walk out on some of the glaciers - such as the Matanuska Glacier between Palmer and Glennallen, AK. They are totally fascinating as is ALL of Alaska! It is totally awesome listening to the sounds of birds chirping, the wind singing, etc - and nothing else, not one human sound for miles all around! Though I moved south to be able to RV easily, there is something about Alaska that always draws me back for a visit! I&amp;#39;ve traveled the Alcan Hwy during all seasons and each has its own splendid beauty. If you haven&amp;#39;t been there, DO take your RV, a camera, and make the trip. The experience and pleasure will be far greater than you can ever imagine!</content><link rel='edit' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/6466001639382223861/698995148116338953/comments/default/332927484248578838'/><link rel='self' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/6466001639382223861/698995148116338953/comments/default/332927484248578838'/><link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://rvalaska.rvtravel.com/2009/11/no-shortage-of-glaciers-to-see-in.html?showComment=1258821695968#c332927484248578838' title=''/><author><name>mle3150</name><uri>http://www.blogger.com/profile/16127385935973227994</uri><email>noreply@blogger.com</email><gd:image xmlns:gd='http://schemas.google.com/g/2005' rel='http://schemas.google.com/g/2005#thumbnail' width='16' height='16' src='http://img2.blogblog.com/img/b16-rounded.gif'/></author><thr:in-reply-to xmlns:thr='http://purl.org/syndication/thread/1.0' href='http://rvalaska.rvtravel.com/2009/11/no-shortage-of-glaciers-to-see-in.html' ref='tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6466001639382223861.post-698995148116338953' source='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/6466001639382223861/posts/default/698995148116338953' type='text/html'/><gd:extendedProperty xmlns:gd='http://schemas.google.com/g/2005' name='blogger.itemClass' value='pid-689802614'/></entry></feed>
